BAck to Basics Bakealong May 29-30th

Ahead of our Back to basics Sourdough Bakealong this weekend I’ve brought together a selection of blog posts about sourdough to help you begin.

If you haven’t joined one of our bakealongs on Instagram & Facebook before, they work like this:

  • On Saturday morning, we start by feeding our starters

  • On Saturday evening, we mix up the dough and put it in the fridge to prove

  • On Sunday morning, we bake the bread. We will be baking the Everyday Sourdough recipe, linked below

  • Using the stories function on Instagram and Facebook, I video each step (I also save all the videos to a highlight on Instagram).

  • At the end of the bakealong, I also put a Q&A box to answer any questions you may have.

Its a great chance to go back to the beginning with your bread and we can help unpick any problems you might be having.

You may not have time to make a starter in time for this weekend, but we can send you one for free (you just pay the shipping) here.

Gather your equipment and ingredients, then get that starter started…
