COVID Policy.

We are committed to ensuring that every visit to the farm is safe for everyone.

What Covid-19 safety measures are in place on the farm?

Gartur is part of Visit Scotland's "We're Good to Go!" scheme, and as such we have a number of measures in place around the farm:

  • Firstly, we ask that anyone who feels unwell or has Covid-19 symptoms does not attend their visit to the farm.

  • We keep up to date with both national and local guidance and ensure that all of our events and bookings are in compliance with any rules or restrictions. Please do not attend your visit to Gartur if it goes against travel restrictions.

  • Hand sanitiser is available throughout your visit, with hot hand washing facilities available at the Farm Shop .

  • As an outdoor venue, we have plenty of space for social and household distancing but signage will be used around the farm where necessary to provide additional guidance.

  • Booking is essential and arrival times for all visitors are required to allow us to control the number of visitors arriving at and moving around the farm at any time.

  • We will cooperate with NHS Track & Trace and the local authority, with contact details taken at the time of booking.

  • Enhanced and thorough cleaning of equipment and touch points is undertaken between visitors.

  • We ask that masks are worn indoors at all times and if you cuddle any of the animals.

What happens if my booking is cancelled due to Covid-19?

All bookings can either be rescheduled or fully refunded should Covid-19 affect your plans. Just get in touch and we will happily sort any issues out with you.
