Everyone Should Have One

In the midst of the 21 (!) hat orders I have had in the last 3 weeks, I have also managed a few trades.  I LOVE a trade.  In fact, when something new arrives in the house Kevin usually asks what I traded in return for it.  Um, yes, I would do great in a barter system...

Anyway, one of the trades was a cable knit hat...after umming and ahhing about the yarn, I used my now favourite Mirasol Sulka for the snappy hat pattern.  I've used this combo before and I have to say I love it even more than I did the first time.  A joy to knit with and snuggly and soft and slightly silky to wear (with less sheen than the picture below is showing). I may just repopulate the hat world with these hats.

Sorry I couldn't find a hat model.  THe pint-sized ones were asleep and my backup met a rather delicious end...
