Dear Ellis

Today, you turn 5, which as you told me last night is "So very old".  I find it hard to believe that 5 years ago today you shot into this world with very little warning and a 1.5 hour labour.

Start as you mean to continue, hey?

I can not believe my luck at having you in my life.  You are so smart and funny.  Your Lego skills are crazy good, as is your breakdancing (Your knock knock jokes do leave something to be desired, though. Always having "Ellis with a jelly on top" as the punchline does wear out).

You are THE BEST big brother I know. I can not believe how much love and understanding you show those two crazy babies.

I am so very blessed to have known you for these last 5 years.  Thank you.
