Roll and Cut Shortbreads

Ingredients

125g corn flour

125g Icing Sugar

240g plain flour

375g softened butter

1t almond or vanilla extract


Method:

  1. Sift together the dry ingredients

  2. Mix in the butter and almond  extract until a dough forms

  3. From here, you can either roll into a log and chill for 1 hour to cut into rounds or roll into a ball and chill and then roll out  to cut out with cookie cutters 

  4. The dough stores great in the fridge.
