Around Here

Breaking a long blog absence is always awkward  - to mention the absence or not?  That is the question.  I am voting for generally skipping it and plunging straight back in.  I will say that while it is my intention to start blogging regularly again, if you are after a regularly updated crochet blog, The Crochet Project will be your best bet.  We have been working to build up our tutorials and all individual patterns going forward will be released through that.

Anyway, how about a list to bring y'all up to speed?

  • Theo has started school. Can you believe it? I can't. We are two weeks in and I hardly know what to do with myself. I managed to clear the backlog of work I simply haven't got done and for the first time in probably 5 years I have been able to be proactive. I don't even know who I am any more!! I even met a deadline today! ON THE DAY IT WAS DUE!!

  • Ellis has started taking trombone lessons. I played trombone in school. He wanted something that was different from what everyone else played and when I suggested trombone, he was all in. He has used to to wake us up in the morning,

  • We have goats now. I know, right? We make goats cheese and it is AMAZING.

  • And that shawl up at the top? A new release as part of Kettle Yarn Co's Baskerville collection. Hop over to The Crochet Project blog for all the details.
