Some moments are just about perfect.

Morning from the hedgerow on the longest day of the year.

Fact: Mornings are better with kittens.

I'm not naming any names here, but someone has decided that it's great fun to chase baby goats and is furthermore banned from 'helping' with chores. (Let's be honest, the helping bit has always been questionable)

Today's loaf is out of the oven and while I fight the children off of it (it's for today's Intro to Sourdough workshop), you can find my go-to sourdough recipe on the blog.

4 years ago when we drove up the long drive and arrived here at #garturstitchfarm I had what at the time seemed like a crazy idea... what if we filled the space with people doing creative things, workshops and photoshoots and foraging and food? It seemed pretty nuts. But 4 years on, I've had to pinch myself that my life is now filled with these things. Quite literally a dream come true. This weekend we hosted a houseful for a Local Colour Workshop with the incredible @woollenflower, such a special day- we learned so much and ate even more than that! These photos are is foraging for bog myrtle behind the farm this morning (and if you watch my stories, you'll see there was a cat and a dog involved as well!)
